The RXMR30VDA* circuit board module provides all of the circuitry required by the Gunnplexer® for a full duplex audio transceiver system. The board contains a complete, low-noise 30 MHz fm receiver with dual polarity afc, modulators for voice and cw operation, Gunn diode voltage regulator and varactor voltage control via an external 10-turn potentiometer. Also included are meter drivers for monitoring received signal level, discriminator output and varactor tuning voltage and an audio output amplifier suitable for driving headphones or a small loud speaker.

The RXMR30VDA* is supplied as an assembled and tested circuit module with mating edge connector and rf input connector. Also supplied is a schematic diagram and detailed interconnection information.

While the afc system on board the RXMR30VDA* does an effective job at keeping the two Gunnplexers® "locked up" for long periods of time, it is not suitable for unattended operation. Should the two Gunnplexers® loose lock, there is no proactive mechanism to reacquire afc lock. Check out the search and lock system SL01VD which addresses this situation.
